Better Explained

Learning for Live: For people who want to learn math and how it is applied in the real world, Better Explained offers interesting classes, articles, and lessons. Individual lessons are generally free and so are online course texts. You can purchase “complete” courses that come with PDF versions of textbooks, video lessons, more quizzes, and invitations to webinars when they occur.

Learning for Live: A sixteen-week immersive program in full stack development. The course covers JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and the MERN stack. Mornings are devoted to classes and afternoons to lab work. Students have to complete sixty hours of preparatory assignments. They can take a rotating elective in the evening.

New York Code + Design Academy

Learning for Live: Twelve-week courses of on front and back-end web development. The Web Development Intensive course covers JavaScript for the front end and Ruby for the back-end. Web Development Intensive with JavaScript covers similar topics but uses Node.js for the back-end.

Houston Coding Boot Camp

ONLC Training Centers

Learning for Live: courses on JavaScript, web development, Perl, Python, and Java. Individual courses are generally three to five days long and form sequences. The Java courses include advanced topics such as JAX-RS and JAXP. Previous experience is required for some courses.
