Multiple courses are available in each of these areas. Many of them are 5 days or less in a specialized topic, so students can combine the courses that meet their interests. Learning for Live: Courses in front- and back-end development and computer science. The courses cover data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, and Node.js.

Coding Dojo

Learning for Live: Three-month courses are available on several full stacks. Each bootcamp covers three stacks. The available stacks vary by location. The technologies covered include iOS, Ruby on Rails, Python, MEAN, .NET, and Java.

Coding Temple

Learning for Live: offerings include a part-time JavaScript bootcamp, a full-time .NET bootcamp, and a full-time Python bootcamp. All of these are ten weeks long. No programming background is required. Forty to sixty hours of pre-work are required. At the conclusion of the course, students will submit a final project.

ProTech

Learning for Live: The large selection of courses covers topics such as Java, .NET, Perl, Python, PHP, Ruby, and MySQL. Courses range from 2 to 5 days and range from introductory to advanced. Many of the classes deal with security-related issues. Companies can arrange for customized classes for their employees.

Learning for Live: Academic Earth is a collection of free online college courses from some of the world’s leading universities and colleges. On its site you’ll be able to find specific courses in many subjects as well as search by university. It collects playlists and video groups to help you learn from many different services, too.

LearningFuze

Learning for Live: A twelve-week immersion program. JavaScript topics include jQuery, Angular.js, React.js, and Node.js. The back-end topics include PHP, MySQL, and Firebase. A two-week preparatory class is required. No programming experience is required, but applicants must be computer literate and have a high school diploma.

Learning for Live: Acquired by LinkedIn in 2015, Lynda features over 13,000 courses in digital marketing, graphic design, IT security, and much more. Instead of paying for individual courses, users pay for a membership and then pick as many courses as they'd like.

Metis Data Science Bootcamp

Learning for Live: A 12-week, full-time bootcamp covers the mathematics and statistics of data science, machine learning, and big data. The focus is on computational methods more than specific tools and languages. Experience in programming and statistics is required. Students must complete 25 hours of pre-work.

Learning for Live: If you want to add some fitness skills to your life, the Daily Burn is the perfect place to start. For a monthly membership fee, users have access to thousands of workout videos and personalized regiments. If you want the gym feeling in your living room, you can tune in for live workout sessions, broadcast daily for members every morning.

Code Platoon

Learning for Live: A 14-week course specifically for veterans. Students must complete six weeks of remote preparation. Remote attendance is possible in some cases. Students will learn the JavaScript and Ruby programming languages. JavaScript technologies include jQuery, AJAX, React, Flux, and Redux. Ruby topics include Sinatra and Rails.
