iTunes U
Learning for Live:
If you have Apple products or an account, the company’s iTunes U is a collection of courses and lectures from leading universities. Part of its iTunes software, you can access courses by topic or university. In many cases, you’ll be able to get audio and video of lectures, have access to some books and materials, and even download quizzes with answer keys.

The Muse
Learning for Live:
The Muse is an all-in-one professional site that includes job boards, company analysis, but most importantly, lots of online coaching options. Users choose from a huge database of coaches, then they choose the style of coaching they're seeking. Coaches are available for 30-minute Q&A sessions and quick resume reviews, but they're also ready to start long-term mentor relationships.

Learning for Live:
Three-month bootcamps on a large range of topics. The average class size is five students. Courses designated as bootcamps cover Java, XML, PHP with MySQL, Ruby on Rails, Adobe PhoneGap, and Allova XML applications. A free retake is allowed with restrictions, and a retake with an 80% discount is allowed to most others.
BrainStation
Learning for Live:
Full-time courses are available in web development and user experience design. They are 400 hours long, spread over ten weeks. The web development course covers JavaScript, jQuery, Sass, and Bootstrap. Applicants must complete preparatory assignments.
Thinkful
Learning for Live:
Thinkful ditches rigid class outlines in favor of a more personal approach. Work one-on-one with a personal mentor to create specific job goals, while also building a network of professionals with shared interests. Some courses guarantee a job, and they won't charge you until you get one.
Designation
Learning for Live:
A twelve-week course on UX/UI, preceded by twelve weeks of prep work. Seventy hours a week are scheduled. There are separate paths for UX and UI. Four weeks are for a class project, followed by six weeks on client projects.
Digital Crafts

A sixteen-week immersive program in full stack development. The course covers JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and the MERN stack. Mornings are devoted to classes and afternoons to lab work. Students have to complete sixty hours of preparatory assignments. They can take a rotating elective in the evening.

Academic Earth is a collection of free online college courses from some of the world’s leading universities and colleges. On its site you’ll be able to find specific courses in many subjects as well as search by university. It collects playlists and video groups to help you learn from many different services, too.
CreativeLive
Learning for Live:
CreativeLive broadcasts free, live classes with the world's top experts in photography, business, design, craft, and audio. Instructors include New York Times contributor Victoria Will and entrepreneur Tim Ferriss from Forbes' "Names You Need to Know."
HighBrow
Learning for Live:
HighBrow specializes in short courses that are emailed daily to your inbox. Subjects can be traditional or outside-the-box, including classes like “Introduction to Commodities and Commodity Markets,” "How to Edit Photos in Lightroom," and "How to Improve Your Memory."
Lynda
Learning for Live:
Acquired by LinkedIn in 2015, Lynda features over 13,000 courses in digital marketing, graphic design, IT security, and much more. Instead of paying for individual courses, users pay for a membership and then pick as many courses as they'd like.
Open Learning Initiative
Learning for Live:
Carnegie Mellon University puts most of its classes online and there’s a free section available to anyone. The “independent learner courses” under its Open Learning Initiative are free for anyone. Once you find a course you want to take, you’ll need to create an account and add it to your list of courses. From there, you get a great dashboard that shows your “Open & Free” course options and will track the status of the classwork you perform.
