Learning for Live: Choose from over 3,900 online courses on Coursera. Some courses are backed by universities and can lead to degrees, while others give students the tools to master a specific skill.

Khan Academy

Learning for Live: This nonprofit offers free online classes that students tackle at their own pace. The classes cover most subjects through high school levels, and some courses dip into early college content.

GFC Global

Learning for Live: The GCFLearnFree.org program is an educational tool from the Goodwill Community Foundation (GCF) Global initiative. It has been offering classes for nearly 20 years and is primarily focused on essential business skills to help people find work. Stanford Engineering Everywhere

Learning for Live: Stanford Engineering Everywhere (SEE) expands the Stanford experience to students and educators online and at no charge. Classes can be streamed or downloaded. Courses are focused on engineering and include the courses taken by the majority of Stanford’s undergraduates. There are also advanced options on AI and linear system optimization.

If you want the gym feeling in your living room, you can tune in for live workout sessions, broadcast daily for members every morning.

Learning for Live: Learning is fun when it’s hands-on is the approach that Instructables takes. This website is designed specifically to showcase projects where people build physical items, including food. You’ll learn fundamental engineering and even advanced electronics. From turning old linens into ropes and old coins into rings all the way to creating drones or coding a 3D game, there’s plenty to discover.

Udacity

Learning for Live: Earn a nanodegree in almost any tech field with Udacity. Courses range from web development to self-driving cars and artificial intelligence. The site also offers a master's degree program in Computer Science through its partnership with Georgia Tech.

iTunes U

Learning for Live: If you have Apple products or an account, the company’s iTunes U is a collection of courses and lectures from leading universities. Part of its iTunes software, you can access courses by topic or university. In many cases, you’ll be able to get audio and video of lectures, have access to some books and materials, and even download quizzes with answer keys.

The Muse

Learning for Live: The Muse is an all-in-one professional site that includes job boards, company analysis, but most importantly, lots of online coaching options. Users choose from a huge database of coaches, then they choose the style of coaching they're seeking. Coaches are available for 30-minute Q&A sessions and quick resume reviews, but they're also ready to start long-term mentor relationships.
